A woman in her forties died after a car accident Friday evening in Bolton-Ouest, in the Eastern Townships.

“According to initial information, the driver lost control of her vehicle before rolling over several times and hitting a power pole,” said agent Catherine Bernard, of the Sûreté du Québec.
Her death was declared in a hospital center, where she was transported after the accident which took place around 11:30 p.m. on Bailey Road.
“A police officer in collision investigation moved to the scene to analyze the scene, and the vehicle was towed for expertise,” said agent Bernard. The SQ was unable to say on Saturday whether speed or alcohol was involved.
The driver was alone in the vehicle.
