Dutchman Dylan van Baarle wins the 119th edition

Dutchman Dylan van Baarle emerged victorious from the hell of the North! The start of the 119th edition of Paris-Roubaix took place this Sunday in Compiègne (Oise). Dylan van Baarle (Ineos) arrived first at the Roubaix velodrome (North), after 257.5 km including 54.8 km of cobblestones, after an attack 19 kilometers from the finish. This is the fastest edition in the history of Paris-Roubaix.

The Belgian Wout Van Aert comes second. The Swiss Stefan Kung complete the podium. Dylan van Baarle, who is 29 years old, won for the first time in a very big race. Second in the world championship last year, he finished second in the Tour of Flanders at the beginning of the month. It is the 7th Dutch success in history, eight years after Niki Terpstra. The route of the 119th edition

Thanks to our interactive map, discover the route of the 119th edition of this Paris-Roubaix.

Departure of the runners from the Place du General de Gaulle in Compiègne in the Oise. It’s at Troisvilles that they will enter the first paved sector which will be taken over its total length of 2.2 km. They will go to Solesmes again. The last time was in 2019.

They will take the cobblestone sector from Vertain to Saint-Martin-sur-Ecaillon then the Haussy sector, in other words in the opposite direction compared to the previous edition last October.
