Draxler injured in selection, announced absence of “several weeks”

The happiness was short-lived for Julian Draxler. A year after his last call to the German selection, the n ° 23 of PSG was recalled by Hanzi Flick but must already leave the Nationalmannschaft following a muscle injury.

Draxler, 28, was injured during the second training session, the manager said. The player suffers from an injury which could remove him from the field for “several weeks”. And Hansi Flick added “It’s a shame because he showed all his quality during training”.
