From his Manhattan skyscraper, Donald Trump organized his response on Friday, May 31, after being found guilty of all the charges against him. The Republican candidate for the American presidential election denounces a rigged trial and considers himself gagged by American justice. “We are going to appeal this scam. You did not allow us to have witnesses, you did not allow us to speak”he said before attacking President Joe Biden, calling him and “his band” of “sick” and of “fascists”.
Faced with these accusations, the outgoing president accused the billionaire of threatening democracy. According to him, this is a historic verdict, which plunges the American presidential election into the unknown. Donald Trump’s sentencing is expected on July 11. This guilty verdict will not prevent the Republican from competing for president.
