Domaine Picard

Domaine Picard, an artisanal charcuterie that produces wholesale, now welcomes you in its store located at the entrance of the company.

At Domaine Picard, we know the trade of the butcher. Opened in 1949, this charcuterie has grown but continues to offer its old-style ham and Picardy Pâté. Among the specialties we will also note the success of Potj’vleesh.

For the past year, customers have been able to shop online, but for the past few days, they have also been able to come and collect the right products directly from the store. Homemade products but also a range of carefully selected local products.

At Domaine Picard the link with suppliers is essential. A bond he also wanted to forge with customers. That’s what is done and every afternoon from Monday to Friday it is Florine who welcomes you. If the shop is small, it is very welcoming and the furniture was made by a local craftsman with recycled furniture.

When we talk about manufacturing, Stephane Nuellas is inexhaustible. Managing Director of Domaine Picard, he knows everything about the making and if you talk to him about ham with nitrite salt, he has the parade. It took a long time but the process is fine and today the Domaine Picard offers its customers a ham with fine salt. Gray in color, this ham is salted by hand and after 3 days of maturation, it is cooked over low heat for 16 hours.
