Over the years, some columnists have played musical chairs around the set of Do not touch My TV, on C8. Indeed, several have announced their departure like Thierry Moreau, Enora Malagré or Agathe Auproux, who had become emblematic faces of the talk show. Now it is another key figure in the program who could well leave TPMP.
Thursday, September 22, 2022, this same columnist takes his courage in both hands and delivers his feelings live on the show. This is Matthieu Delormeau, present on the show since 2015 with a first departure in 2020 for a delay the following year. “Don’t take it as a threat. But in fact it’s more of a threat though“, he then begins, setting the tone. And to continue: “I’ve been around for about eight years, you’ve been telling me I’m the best for eight years, you’ve been telling me I’m a hope for eight years, I’ve been riding for eight years and I haven’t took off. So either you give me two prime time regulars here and I’ll take off, or I’ll take off somewhere else on another channel !“
An ultimatum that does not pass with Cyril Hanouna. “Do you think you’re Putin now? I explain to you: it will go from there and it will go straight in your face!“, he lets go in front of a hilarious set. And to resume a little more calmly: “I think the best thing is for him to take off elsewhere. Just be careful when taking off so you don’t hit the wall.“Enough joking, the flagship host of C8 specifies that he has already offered”a great show“to its chronicler, viz. TPMP People, which Matthieu Delormeau presents every Saturday on the channel. “He always wants more!“, then regrets Cyril Hanouna.
Finally, Matthieu Delormeau admits that he hoped to one day be able to replace his mentor at the helm of Touche not at my post…I had planned that one day, with all your money, you would go for a walk… I’m here in case something happens to you but nothing ever happens to you“, then declares the columnist. For the time being, these projects should not succeed!
