Mélody Faces Disturbing Hallucinations
At the police station, Roxane and Timothée present circumstantial evidence to Georges, linking Côme Gaudin to Bart’s poisoning. As Roxane scratches her arm due to a rash, Georges recalls seeing Côme do the same during his interrogation. This prompts him to decide to take a skin sample from Côme.
Meanwhile, Mélody expresses her regrets to Bastien. The previous day, she had a terrifying experience, believing that an attacker had returned to her home, threatening her with a knife. Bastien, understanding her turmoil, reassures her that the police have already apprehended her assailant and encourages her to take it easy. However, Mélody pleads with her son not to disclose her recent experience to Georges.
Afterward, Bastien encounters Violette at the Little Spoon. He feels conflicted about whether to betray his mother’s confidence by confiding in Georges. Violette encourages him to consider speaking up.
Later, while jogging in the forest, Mélody is suddenly overwhelmed when she believes she sees John Kovac’s body hanging from a tree. Panicked, she rushes to the police station to inform Georges, insisting he accompany her to the scene. However, upon investigation, there is nothing there. Georges, already informed by Bastien about Mélody’s previous incident, grows concerned about her mental state. Mélody blames her anxiety medication for her current condition and, frustrated that Georges won’t allow her to pick up Lucien from daycare, storms home.
That evening, Roxane confirms to Georges that traces of the pesticide responsible for Bart’s poisoning have been discovered in Côme’s system. Georges hopes this news will ease Mélody’s mind, yet he remains anxious about her ongoing hallucinations.
Later, when Georges returns home with Lucien, Mélody offers to take care of him while Georges heads for a shower. Holding Lucien, she suddenly feels unwell and calls for Georges, who rushes to prevent their son from falling. He safely places Lucien back in his stroller before supporting Mélody, who is clearly struggling.
Samuel’s Flirtation Takes a Wrong Turn
At the hospital, Soraya catches Victoire watching Fred from a distance. Victoire has noticed that Fred has been less active since Marine’s arrival in Sète. She plans to invite him to dinner once Marine departs for Paris.
At the Spoon, Marine sees Samuel choking on his drink. She quickly steps in to help him, patting his back until he recovers. After the scare, they introduce themselves, and Samuel, feeling bold, flirts with her and invites her out for a drink that evening, which she happily accepts.
Alex’s Friends Notice a Change in Him
Alone at the beach, Alex records a heartfelt video message for his children, urging them to look after their mother if anything were to happen to him. Overcome with emotion, he deletes the video before he can finish. He is soon interrupted by Sylvain, who has just completed his jog. Sylvain invites Alex for coffee, but Alex declines.
At the Spoon, Sylvain shares his concerns about Alex with Bruno. Both friends suspect something is troubling Alex, but they can’t pinpoint the issue.
Upon returning home, Alex realizes he forgot to pick up Céleste’s vaccine from the pharmacy. Chloé expresses her frustration at his lack of attention to her needs. Instead of engaging in an argument, Alex acknowledges his oversight and is determined to make it right.
Meanwhile, Aaron seeks Victoire’s advice, feeling guilty about how he has treated Alex, which has led to Alex refusing surgery. Victoire encourages him to attempt to schedule another appointment with Alex.
