discover the cheerful photos of the finalists of the Comedy Pet Awards 2022

The Comedy Pet Photography Awards, a competition based in London but open to amateur photographers around the world, published the shortlist of finalists for the 2022 edition on Thursday July 21. This cheerful competition created for “celebrate the positive role pets have in our lives“, shows all kinds of animals (including horses, rabbits, llamas, geese etc.) immortalized by their human friends in funny and often adorable postures.

The 30 finalist photos for the Comedy Pet Photography Awards were chosen from hundreds of photos submitted to the competition from 70 different countries. The judges must now choose their favorites, who will win the different prizes (6 different categories, including one dedicated to cats and another to dogs), but the public is also invited to vote for the first time, until August 22 . The winners will be announced on September 13, 2022.

The competition, which prohibits any photo of an animal wearing clothes or headgear, is sponsored by an English pet insurance company (Animal Friends Insurance), which will distribute on this occasion 30,000 pounds (approximately 35,000 euros) to animal charities, as well as 5000 pounds (5850 euros) that the main winner can donate to the charity of their choice.
