Discover the 2022/2023 program of the Cultural Center of Sarlat

Take your diaries and write down! The Cultural Center of Sarlat welcomes you until June 2023 with its various and varied shows, and for all tastes.

Essentials

the Cirque Le Roux will be on view on Saturday October 22 with a show named for the Molières: “The Night of the Stag”. Acrobatics and poetry on the program. It’s a circus full of emotions that will appeal to young and old.

On the dance side, you can see the Carolyn Carlson Co. with “The Tree”. A show for all audiences, with a reflection on humanity and nature, on the brink of shipwreck of course, but still with a lot of poetry there too. The decor and the dance will make you travel for sure.

In music it is Baptiste Ventadour which will be on view on February 28. An artist of the French folk scene, author and musician, who started on the open stages of Sarlat and who today is confirmed.

For humor, trust Roukiata Ouedraogo and his stories between France and Africa on Friday March 17, or at Christophe Alévêque and his show “Old Jerk” on what he calls “the new moral order”. To be seen on April 29.

Discoveries

Trust the teams of the Cultural Center of Sarlat for favorites, discoveries that are worth the detour.

For example, don’t miss this particularly touching play: “The Man Who Slept Under My Bed” on refugees, on 30 March. Or “White” over there Cie Hecho en Casawhich will invite amateur actors to share the stage, on April 25.

And you will end the season with rap and afropunk: first the current music set Rap by Night! with young artists who will break through for sure! What to impress your children with names they may not yet know… It will be live on May 27 and 28, 2023. Afropunk, it will be for Saturday June 3, with Voodoo Gamean energy, a concert that will transport you to the most groovy and vibrant eras!
