Didier from “Love is in the meadow 6” died crushed by his tractor!

Impossible to forget his face! In 2011 in the 6ᵉ season of Love is in the meadow, Didier Berton quickly seduced viewers with his personality. Versatile, the latter was both a winegrower and a market gardener in the Hérault.

“Sex represents 60 to 70% of my couple”, he had dropped in front of the camera hoping to make his ladies succumb. However for “TV Grandes Dames”, the latter regretted having used the provocation card: “I sabotaged my portrayal, because between the casting and the response from the production, I had met someone. Only, as I had given a false image of myself, it distorted the game a bit. I I was sometimes clumsy, not diplomatic enough”.

But this Friday, June 16, 2023, our colleagues from “Midi Libre” shared very sad news about him. And for good reason, the 58-year-old farmer was unfortunately the victim of a work accident which caused his death.

“Didier Berton would have been seriously burned…”

While working in one of his fields, the principal concerned was run over by his tractor. According to our colleagues, Didier Berton “was tinkering” the gear”on one of his plots of vines in espalier at Capestang, in the Hérault (…) The tractor would have tipped over from a terrace and would have crushed the unfortunate.” Alerted by the explosion, neighboring farmers then contacted the emergency services. “Didier Berton would have been seriously burned during this accident”, we learn. According to the latest news, an autopsy will soon be orchestrated to find out about his death and the causes of the incident.

As a reminder in Love is in the meadow, Didier Berton had lived a short idyll with Agnès. Of him, his suitor had assured that he was above all “a charming man”… At least at the beginning of the adventure. Over the episodes, tensions were palpable as she pointed out: “We made it happen, I have nothing to hide! Me, I had been alone for six months. But Didier screwed up everything. (…) He made a gesture that I really disliked. (. ..) When he got up, he threw the duvet at me as if he were all alone. These are gestures that I cannot forgive”. Our thoughts to those close to Didier Berton…
