Detective Literature Fair in Libourne

An unmissable weekend for detective novel lovers : meetings, signing sessions, unusual visits and entertainment over three days!

The very first edition of the Crime Literature Festival (initially scheduled for 2020) will bring together about thirty authors of thrillers at the Condorcet media library in Libourne. Among the authors announced: Sandrine Durochat, Jérémy Wulc, Salvatorre Minni, Florent Marotta, Raphaël Grangier or even Philippe Le Roy. In the program : two evenings at the Libourne court to discover behind the scenes of a trial, the role of lawyers and magistrates. Without forgetting the workshops offered by the Scientific Police. Reconstituted crime scenes, the presence of the canine brigade and events with the National Gendarmerie.

The film “The Red Circle” by Melville, one of the great classics of French detective cinema will be screened at the Big screen at the opening of the festival, Friday, June 3 at 8:15 p.m. On Saturday, a nocturnal guided tour on the theme “Miscellaneous facts in Libourne through the centuries”) is offered to festival-goers.
