Death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut: the heartbreaking farewell of Jean-Luc Reichmann

Jean-Pierre Pernaut died on March 2, 2022 at the age of 71. He fought against lung cancer, was successfully operated on, but the disease affected the other lung. After radiotherapy sessions, his state of health deteriorated since after having suffered “4 mini-strokes” at the start of the year, he underwent open-heart surgery in February. Due to complications, he was put into a deep coma before he died. A tragedy … Jean-Luc Reichmann, struck down by this tragedy, paid him a beautiful tribute on Instagram.

Wednesday March 9, a few hours before the funeral of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, the other star of TF1 published a photo of the two of them, hilarious, on the set of 12 noon shots. The text, which accompanies the image, is heartbreaking. Here it is as is:Hello my Jean-Pierre. Today is your last front page of the JT, you who have put so many on the front page for all these years. With you we laughed, we danced, we shared so much. With you everything was simple, everything was only sincerity and complicity. You who have always been there for me, for us, for your dear family, for the one who mourns you, today you are leaving, leaving me alone, orphaned by your gaze, your smile and your words if lucid and so sincere. On the front page, you have been praised, decried, jealous, but you have always been in the truth of this society and of popular FRANCE… of our FRANCE and its beautiful regions, its villages and its markets, that that you loved so much to make us discover and tell us about. Jean-Pierre, your battles which were yours have become and will forever remain mine on a daily basis. Your elegance, your requirement, your modesty, your frankness and your mischievous smile in your eyes so blue, this is what you were and what you will remain for me. My Jean-Pierre, you can now definitely untie your blue tie, today on the blue background of the end credits, I melt into your gaze and I mourn your ultimate departure. I will miss you so much. Your dear neighbor, but above all and above all, your sincere friend for eternity. #jeanpierrepernaut
