Death of Charlotte Valandrey: her daughter Tara, 22, looks a lot like her

Everyone thought Charlotte Valandrey was going to pull through. She was also the first. At the end of May, the actress posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed declaring that she was going to be more absent from social networks because of her hospitalization for a good cause: “My heart has come to an end and I am therefore waiting for the one who will be my 3rd. It can happen at any time. I need all your positive vibes” she declared to her subscribers, delighted to be able to accompany her, even virtually, in this heavy stage. A new heart is coming, filling Charlotte Valandrey with hope. In vain. This Wednesday, July 13, Charlotte Valandrey bowed out at the age of 53.

If a good number of artists who have crossed her path have expressed their sorrow on learning of her disappearance, there is no doubt that she is tiny compared to that which her dad, Jean-Pascal, must have felt, always present for her, and her daughter. Tara, 22, born of her marriage to Arthur Lecaisne. Rare are the times when mother and daughter are displayed together. Tara’s last public appearance dates back to 2013 during a medal presentation at the Ministry of Culture. The opportunity to see (already) how much she had inherited her mother’s facial features.

Since then, no mother-daughter outing but posts on Instagram (see slideshow) and a moving interview with Charlotte Valandrey at the Gala during which she confided in her relationship like never before. The actress revealed that Tara had blamed her for her repeated absences, due to her job, when she was younger: “Sometimes, quite harshly, she tells me that I slept for ten years. It’s true that I wasn’t like the other mums who prepare breakfast, lunch… Those attentions, I didn’t get them for Tara. But I was always there when she needed it” she whispered.

Despite this long painful parenthesis, mother and daughter managed to keep the links and to maintain this fusion until the end. Tara Lecaisne has not spoken since the disappearance of her mother, who had sent her a final poem revealed on Instagram: “In 2000, I was a mother, you gave me back my life. May these words forever fill our silences. Let them tell your soul what I don’t know how to tell you. May they hug you like your words hugged me this morning. ‘The best of mothers’. The most beautiful of children. […] Always around you, around your neck, by your hands. I will be in a laugh, in a field, never far away. At night in the rain or in bright sunshine. Call me my Louloute, I don’t sleep, I watch. Love as I love you my angel, my paradise.” Heart touching.
