Moscow continues to strike Ukrainian soil and Russian soldiers continue to gain ground in the east of the country. Odessa and Kharkiv, two of the country’s largest cities, were notably hit by deadly strikes.
In Ukraine, in the city of Odessa, a historic building was devoured by flames after multiple Russian airstrikes. The city of Kharkiv, in the northeast of the country, was also affected. Several people were killed and dozens more injured by a hail of missiles from Russia. The NATO Secretary General came to support the Ukrainian president on Monday April 29.
Several captures claimed by the Russians in the East
Despite the aid released by the United States, the NATO Secretary General also called on the West to speed up arms deliveries to kyiv. “Its a question of life or death”, said Jens Stoltenberg. kyiv’s Western allies fear that Russia will take advantage of this lack of equipment and ammunition to further gain ground.
