Yvan Baudouin, the sculptor
Yvan Baudouin is training stonecutter. Based in Dannemoine, he works Burgundy stone and marble and extracts a bestiary : frog, rabbit, penguin, bear or seahorse. His creations can be found in many cities. We owe him, among other things, the famous Avalon frog Where the tortoise of Saint Florentin.
He also creates stone light fixtures … unique pieces as a material challenge.
Yvan Baudouin is also restorer and worked for the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles, the Invalides, the Saint Germain l’Auxerrois church in Paris and the Château de Vaux le Vicomte.
