(Dallas) A Texas court has dismissed a civil lawsuit filed by a woman who accused Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott of sexual assault.
The judge’s decision, issued Wednesday, comes less than two months after Dallas police decided not to file criminal charges in connection with allegations made in 2017.
Prescott and the woman had sued each other. The quarterback claimed the woman was trying to extort him for $100 million to keep her allegations secret. The woman said Prescott attacked her in his car in the parking lot of a strip club.
The Collin County judge ruled that the woman’s allegations were unfounded, Prescott’s attorney revealed.
The judge also set a hearing for September 13 to determine whether sanctions should be imposed against the woman and her legal representatives.
