The Czech Republic has the lowest unemployment rate in Europe, at just 2.6%. How to explain it?
A country without unemployment, hell or paradise? The Czech Republic has enjoyed near full employment for several decades. A French woman has been working in Prague, the capital, for five years. However, she doesn’t speak a word of Czech. In his business, only English is necessary. According to her, the recruitment process seemed more difficult in France. “The Czech Republic is a career accelerator”, she estimated.
Czech Republic is the country in Europe with the lowest unemployment rate: 2.6%. This explains the influx of young European graduates: salaries there are 20% lower than in France, but so is the cost of living.
Another ingredient of success: the geographical location, in the center of the continent, which allows us to be relatively close to different European customers. The absence of unemployment is also due to industries which, unlike France, have not left the territory. In the country, unemployment insurance is very low, but it is very difficult for an employer to dismiss an employee.
