Cyril Hanouna announces the end of the show, the improbable reason revealed

Faced with the success of the show “Do not touch My TV” broadcast on C8, from Monday to Friday, Cyril Hanouna recently decided to go on air also during the weekend. On February 3, the famous host launched “Face à Hanouna”, a new show based on the same concept and with another team of columnists, specially designed for the weekend.

Happy to appear on screen seven days a week, Cyril Hanouna was delighted with the fact that the program quickly became a ratings success and thus worked better than the show “TPMP People” formerly broadcast on weekends. end on the same time slot and presented by Matthieu Delormeau.

Despite the enthusiasm and support from his fans, Cyril Hanouna decided to stop his new show after only one month on the air. “Apart from the first two, we always made a million. […] The channel asked me to continue beyond ten, […] know that I will stop after ten (weekends). That’s what we said at the beginning. We will surely resume at the start of the school year, but for the moment, I cannot, because there, I will have the French championships, so it will be very complicated” he justified.

Cyril Hanouna is referring here to the fact that he plays padel at a high level and that he will therefore be very busy with his training in the weeks to come. Present on the set of the show this Sunday March 10, 2024, his coach Adrien Maigret then recalled that the host aims to integrate the top 50 French players: “It’s going to be complicated, you’ll have to practice! There are titles to be found there, eh! It’s dead !”. Amused by the situation, the columnist Raymond then asked: But is your job TV or is it padel?“.

The show “Face à Hanouna” will therefore continue to be broadcast until April 7 before stopping and only returning at the start of the school year, in September 2024.
