Gushue broke the tie by stealing three in the eighth end and took control of the rest of the game.

The foursome from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador have won all three of their round robin games so far at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The Netherlands led 5-2 after five innings when Canada scored a deuce in the sixth end before stealing a run in the next inning to tie the game. By then, the tide had clearly turned in Team Gushue’s favor.
Canada will face Switzerland on Sunday evening. Two other teams are still undefeated in the tournament, USA and Finland. However, these two teams only played two games.
The round robin continues until Friday. The top six teams will then advance to the playoff round. The medal round will take place on April 10.
