Contaminations at Covid-19 are on the rise in France on Saturday 25 December. Many shows, whose actors have contracted the virus, can no longer be performed in France.

Due to the health crisis and the number of contaminations in the Covid-19 which is blazing in France, many shows are canceled. In Paris, “Les Franglaises” are among the troops who can still be produce because no positive case was detected on Saturday 25 December. “We are a little torn between the fear that this will happen and the fact that, in our heads, the show has to continue no matter what”, explains Adrien Le Ray, one of the actors of the troop.

With the arrival of the Omicron variant in France, cancellations are increasing in the entertainment world. There will be no performance of “Don Quixote“at the Opéra Bastille on Saturday, the same for the Théâtre du Châtelet, closed until Sunday, December 26, or at the Moulin Rouge which hopes to reopen for New Year’s Eve. So far sold out at the Mogador theater, “The Lion King” was arrested due to twenty positive cases within the troupe. The actors hope to be able to resume the show from Friday, December 31.
