Until February 9, the Cinémathèque québécoise is teaming up with the Italian Cultural Institute of Montreal to present the “Spaghetti Westerns” cycle. On the menu: 22 films from this movement which swept onto the screens in the 1960s and 1970s. Think of the “three Sergios” (Leone, with The good, the bad and the ugly ; Corbucci, with Django; Sollima, with The last face to face) and to several other filmmakers who have brought to life a genre known for its daring aesthetics, its legendary antiheroes and its unforgettable soundtracks. Enough to satisfy the biggest appetites. Indoors.
