(Ottawa) The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Quebec’s ban on possessing and growing cannabis plants for personal use is constitutional.
In a unanimous decision, the nation’s highest court said the National Assembly has jurisdiction to prohibit the possession and cultivation of cannabis plants at home for reasons of public health and safety.
