(Planica) The Canadian quartet of Xavier McKeever, Antoine Cyr, Graham Ritchie and Olivier Léveillé finished fifth in the 4×10 km relay at the World Nordic Skiing Championships held in Planica, Slovenia.
The four Canadian cross-country skiers completed the race on Friday with a cumulative time of one hour 34 minutes 17.2 seconds.
Norwegians Hans Christer Holund, Paal Golberg, Simen Hegstad Krüger and Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo secured the gold medal for their country with a combined time of 1:32:54.7.
Finland (1:33:41.6) and Germany (1:33:54.5) completed the podium.
France (1:33:55.2) finished fourth.
