[Critique] “The Last Season of the World” by Simon Johannin

Simon Johannin is literally in ecstasy in front of this woman he sees or this sea that surrounds him. Its fragility liquefies. One might think that this untimely romanticism disturbs, and yet not. The authenticity of this intimacy reveals a heart: “I still want you to attach yourself / To my body as the base of a life / Where to pose naked forever. Here is a collection on simple desire, even more on sensuality against despair and finitude. The last season of the world is that of touch and the watchful eye.
