The Covid-19 epidemic continues to decline. The number of hospitalized patients is also falling. We can see the end of the tunnel to the point that Gabriel Attal, the government spokesman, believes that the vaccine pass could be lifted at the end of March or the beginning of April.

Will the vaccination pass be lifted soon? Gabriel Attal, the government spokesman is optimistic and evokes a possible end date for this health measure at the end of March or beginning of April. It is a deadline that was mentioned a little earlier by the president of the Council for the orientation of the vaccine strategy, Wednesday, February 9. It still sets conditions: a reduced incidence rate, no hospital overload and a high booster vaccination rate.

Regarding the incidence, we are still far from the alert threshold set at 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. But the current decline gives hope that it will be reached in the spring. As for the curve of hospitalizations, it has been rising steadily since November. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds is also worrying. So some doctors regret the announcement of a possible release date of the vaccine pass.
