What to do if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19? Should I isolate? And if so, how many days? A new platform put online by the government on Friday aims to help Quebecers find their way around.
The new self-assessment platform concerns the isolation instructions. It indicates how many days people must self-isolate if they have been in contact with the virus taking into account different variables such as age, source of contact and vaccination status.
In a press scrum, Health Minister Christian Dubé said the platform was “98% perfect” and invited people to report any problems with the tool to communicate it to the ministry to help improve it.
“I would invite people who still contract the virus to go and fill out this form. It allows you to see if you have to isolate yourself for 5 days or 10 days depending on the case, ”he said.
