Course | Rethinking urban planning to adapt to new needs

In the era of reducing our ecological footprint, it seems essential to rethink urban planning dating from the 1960s. Of course, efforts have been made to develop sidewalks and cycle paths since, but these do not allow , for example, to connect the Longueuil metro with Vieux-Longueuil. Pedestrians, cyclists and motorists must then share the roads, in a more or less safe manner. Our journalist Marco Fortier looked into the case of Longueuil.
