Country hit by devastating typhoon

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is under water. Many districts of the historic center have been submerged. The passage of Typhoon Yagi caused an exceptional flood of the Red River, which crosses the city. Hundreds of residents have been evacuated, some are trying to stay but their situation is difficult. In the mountainous province of Lao Cai near the Chinese border, the typhoon caused a massive landslide. An entire village was swept away, leaving 30 dead and 65 missing.
