The pact between the 200 states participating in the COP26, which should reduce greenhouse gas emissions, was signed on Saturday 13 November in Glasgow (Scotland) without much enthusiasm.

24 hours late, the Glasgow climate pact was ratified on Saturday 13 November. An outcome which, despite the applause, will leave a bitter taste to the president of the COP26, Alok Sharma. Present in Scotland, Minister for the Ecological Transition Barbara Pompili underlines on Sunday November 14 the concrete progress and speaks of a compromise text. The next climate conference will take place in Egypt in 2022. Until then, each signatory country must make quantified commitments.
