Kelly gives you her recipe for Wednesday cookies with the kids
Kelly always gives us her recipes because baking is all about sharing. For 4 large cookies or 8 small apricot, walnut and chocolate cookies of your choice for example you need:
- 100g soft butter
- vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 sachet of yeast
- a few chopped dried apricots
- 100g chocolate chips or chunks
- 100g walnuts
- 200g flour
First, vigorously mix the soft butter, vanilla, egg and yeast. Add your apricots and nuts. Mix again. Then add the flour and knead “with love” as Kelly would say, who specifies that at this stage of the recipe the flour must be added gently. In the end, the dough does not or hardly stick.
Form your 4 balls or your 8 small balls on your baking sheet and bake in a hot oven at 170° (no more) for 10 minutes for large cookies and rather 6 minutes for smaller ones.
