The leader of the Conservative Party of Quebec, Éric Duhaime, missed his bet to be elected in the riding of Chauveau, in the northern suburbs of Quebec, and will therefore have to wait to make his entry into the National Assembly.

At 9:20 p.m., his opponent, outgoing CAQ MP Sylvain Lévesque, won nearly 50% of the vote and held a lead of more than 2,000 votes out of the 16,898 cast.

In Beauce-Nord, another riding where the Conservative Party of Quebec had aims, its candidate, Olivier Dumais, was also lagging behind.
