911 received several calls regarding a collision that occurred at 5 p.m. between a motorcyclist and a vehicle at the corner of Papineau and Prieur streets, in the Ahuntsic neighborhood.
The driver of the motorcycle was quickly transported to a hospital. The man, aged 56, suffered a head trauma, specifies the public relations officer for the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM), Véronique Dubuc. According to medical authorities, his life is in danger.
The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, suffered no injuries.
The SPVM indicates that its investigators and experts will try to establish the exact circumstances of this collision. “It’s a long-term job,” underlines Véronique Dubuc, specifying that the exact circumstances will not be known today.
