Coderre “the savior”: Richard Martineau, Molière and Jaws 2

Richard Martineau did not go there with the back of the spoon to comment on the remarks of the former mayor of Montreal, converted into a candidate for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Quebec, Denis Coderre, on the subject of his “mission” of “ combat the separatist threat.

That was all it took to light the host’s fuse.

“Like Carrie, like Jason and like Jaws, the separatist threat returns,” he said ironically.

Richard Martineau delivers a fiery editorial, one of his best of the season, to QUB:

At his QUB microphone, Richard Martineau in thick butter. With all his lyrical talent, emphasizing each syllable of his indignation, the star host makes fun of Mr. Coderre’s remarks. To be honest, all that was missing was the long coat, the felt hat and the goose feather.

For a few minutes, Cyrano de Martineau threw his glove in someone’s face, showing that he still has that panache that characterizes him. Without aggression, he remained descriptive and lyrical. We bet that this dose of derision will not leave anyone indifferent.
