In the 2000s, the French witnessed the birth of a couple who accompanied them for the time of a few cult songs. A couple well known to readers of William Shakespeare and his masterpiece Romeo and Juliet. In the musical of the same name, Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara played the heroes of this tragedy in song before the troupe broke up shortly after its birth.
Since then, the former has come a long way, participating in particular in Dance with the stars but also joining another musical many years after the first. Indeed, in 2015, he took the floor to confirm his presence in The three Musketeers with Brahim Zaibat and Olivier Dion.
Towards a return of Romeo and Juliet?
“It is with pleasure and excitement that I confirm the information from Le Parisien this morning: yes, I will be one of the musketeers in 2016. ambitious and well thought outannounced Damien Sargue on his Twitter account before adding: “The repertoire you will discover is just crazy, the staging promises to be incredible: very happy with the adventure ahead. I had never imagined doing a show again but it’s too exciting & I thank the troupe for calling me It’s going to be GIANT!”
But what fans have been hoping for so long is that his “couple” with Cécilia Cara will reform. It looks like some people’s wishes have been heard as the two will once again perform on stage in the big show de Jarry according to the joint publication of the two artists. “Because it’s always a real pleasure to meet again. A little selfie coming out of the recording of @bigshowdejarry. It was really great and full of emotions! Thank you again @jarrytypique for your good mood! See you soon on @france2!”, wrote in the caption of an accomplice cliché, Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara. A moment that will be filled with emotion and that will bring back many memories.
