After seducing tourists and city dwellers with their animated projections in Old Montreal since 2016, the creators of Cité Mémoire are announcing a series of new installations that will appear in Charlevoix next summer.

Cité Mémoire Charlevoix will highlight the region’s history through 70 digital interventions, including paintings projected along the river in Pointe-au-Pic, but also podcasts and various points of interest. To enjoy the experience, visitors will need to download a free mobile app.
“These visual, textual and musical paintings will, I hope, capture all the poetry and depth of the place as well as the warmth of those who live there,” said Michel Lemieux, artistic director of Cité Mémoire, in a press release. Charlevoix.
Playwright Michel-Marc Bouchard will sign the texts for the project designed in partnership with the Charlevoix Museum, Héritage Charlevoix, the Charlevoix Regional Archives Center and the Observatoire de l’Astroblème de Charlevoix.
