In La Rochelle (Charente Maritime), hard blow for Caroline Lecoq, infected by the Omicron variant just before the holidays. “We had a Christmas remotely, my family even sent gifts by La Poste”, underlines the young woman. For children who test positive, it is even harder. “The cousins ​​are disappointed and the little one is sad, but there is nothing he can do”, indicates the mother of the family. Like them, more than 600,000 French people had to isolate themselves for the holidays.
