Shortly after 2 p.m. this Sunday, April 17, the firefighters of the Channel intervene on a damaged car rue de l’abbaye in Cherbourg.
The vehicle is on its roof. Inside are two victims. An 84-year-old woman is slightly injured, she was transported to the Pasteur hospital in Cherbourg. The second victim an 86-year-old man is seriously injured. The firefighters whose center is very close to the site of the accident, as well as the SMUR, also transported him to the hospital in Cherbourg.
Thirteen firefighters were mobilized during this operation. The causes of the accident are still unknown.
