(Saint-Agapit) A man in his thirties lost his life Sunday morning after falling from a moving vehicle on Route 273 southbound near Saint-Agapit in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.
Around 3:30 a.m., emergency services were called regarding a person lying on the ground on the side of Route 273. It is unknown why the individual was ejected from the vehicle.
According to Sergeant Élizabeth Marquis-Guy of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver of the vehicle, aged in her fifties, did not suffer any injury.
Route 273 was closed for the purposes of the investigation. Investigators and collision scene reconstructionists from the SQ were dispatched to the scene of the accident to establish the causes and circumstances.
