(Saint-Fortunat) A man traveling on a motorcycle left the road which was fatal to him. The accident occurred Saturday evening in Saint-Fortunat, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.

The police officers of the MRC des Appalaches as well as the emergency services were called to intervene around 5:45 p.m. on Route 263 in relation to a road accident.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), a 60-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle as he approached a curve before ending his trajectory in the ditch.
The man was found unresponsive and resuscitation was performed on him. His death was unfortunately pronounced at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
A collision investigation officer attended the scene to determine what may have caused the accident. So far, no lead has been ruled out.
