What was known is now announced: Charlotte Cardin is postponing her series of four shows at MTELUS to a “later date”, from January 5 to 8.
“It pains me a lot, I had been looking forward to this moment for three years now,” wrote the singer on her Facebook page. This situation is obviously out of my control, but I promise you absolutely insane shows when we can meet safely. ”
These postponements, formalized on Wednesday, are added to an imposing list of concerts postponed or completely canceled for a week. On December 16, Quebec announced the imposition of a 50% gauge on theaters, before ordering last Monday their complete closure for an indefinite period.
The concerts of the pop artist, who released the album Phoenix last April, were to be sold out. Pass holders are asked to keep their ticket pending “specific information”.
Charlotte Cardin must once again set foot on the boards of MTELUS at the beginning of February, after a concert tour that will take her – perhaps – to the United States and the rest of Canada. For the moment, no announcement has been made in relation to these dates.
