CFL | Stampeders show no mercy for Argonauts and win 29-2

(Calgary) Cam Judge’s 71-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter capped a 29-2 Calgary Stampeders victory over the Toronto Argonauts.

Stamps running back (10-5) Ka’Deem Carey had 92 yards on 14 carries, scoring a last-minute touchdown. He leads the CFL with 949 rushing yards this season.

Reggie Begelton and Tommy Stevens also scored touchdowns for the Stampeders, which ended the Argos’ winning streak (8-6) at four.

Game-winning quarterback Jake Maier completed 17 of 24 passes for 175 and a touchdown. He is 4-2 as a starter replacing Bo Levi Mitchell.

Malik Henry scored for 69 receiving yards, bringing his total for the season to over 1,000.

For the Argos, McLeod Bethel-Thompson completed 19 of 38 passes for 194 yards. He was intercepted on two occasions.
