After an All Stars edition rich in twists and without a winner, Koh Lanta signs his big comeback. Tuesday February 22, 2022, TF1 and ALP are launching a new season called The Cursed Totem. They are twenty-four adventurers in the running, twelve men and twelve women. Among them, several profiles are already emerging: Anne-Sophie the footballer’s wife, Yannick the basketball player, Stéphanie the croupier strategist or even Céline, the altruistic nurse. Behind this big heart, however, hides a deep sadness linked to a tragedy.
Sunday February 13, 2022, less than ten days before the kick-off of Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Totem, Céline takes to her Instagram account to share a photo of her children. Two blond heads installed from behind, very close to a stone house and facing nature, between blue sky and greenery. This pretty shot, perhaps a memory of a family vacation, gives way to a sad text.
“4 years after the death of your fathermom dedicates this adventure to you forever engraved in my head“, launches Céline in legend. This is how her faithful followers discover that the pretty blonde with blue eyes has lost a loved one, the father of her children having died. “Mom will also have survived this Covid-19 pandemic which scared you very much“, continues this 41-year-old nurse. Her participation in Koh LantaCéline also dedicates it “to all the children growing up without a parent“, and in particular to the daughters and sons of missing police officers. Indeed, it addresses a mention to Orpheopolis, an institution which “supports and accompanies orphans of police officers and their families thanks to public generosity“. If she does not give more details, it is likely that the father of her children was in the police force.
