Celebration Tour | Canada announces its formation which will participate in the two games against Nigeria

Soccer Canada has unveiled the roster for the women’s soccer squad’s two friendlies against Nigeria in British Columbia next month.

The 29-player roster will include all 22 gold medalists from the last Summer Olympics, plus seven up-and-coming players who coach Bev Priestman wants to join the main squad as the team prepares for the CONCACAF Women’s Championship, which will take place this summer.

Christine Sinclair, with 308 international selections, will lead the Canadian team in these two duels.

The 38-year-old striker, who topped international scorers with her 185and goal in January 2020, will be able to celebrate in front of his family, at B. C. Place, on April 8.

The Canadians, sixth in the world, will also host Nigeria, ranked 39andat Starlight Stadium in Langford, on April 11.

Goalkeeper Stephanie Labbé, who announced her retirement in January, will play her last matches during these two duels.
