Arrested at her home in Lescure-d’Albigeois (Tarn), she had been placed in police custody on Wednesday morning, one year to the day after the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar. Séverine Longhini, the current companion of Cédric Jubillar, had since been heard in the premises of the gendarmerie of Gaillac to complicity in the concealment of a corpse. His custody was lifted around 9:10 p.m. this Thursday, after about 38 hours. She came out free. According to information from Radio France, Séverine was cooperative with the investigators. New excavations and research must take place shortly.
All the questions were asked given the length of this file – Fabienne Bex, lawyer for Séverine Longhini
Emmanuelle Franck, one of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers reacted to this custody: “We are waiting to understand and know the real reasons for this placement in police custody, which does not seem to have had any consequences or impact.”
Séverine Longhini, 44, says she has shared Cédric Jubillar’s life since last April. The husband of the nurse who disappeared a year ago has been six months indicted for intentional homicide in this case and is in pre-trial detention. Cedric Jubillar has always denied the facts in court.
Several witnesses heard
Several people around Cédric Jubillar were also heard on Wednesday by the gendarmes, but as simple witnesses.
Since the start of the case, investigators have made four arrests and custody: Cédric Jubillar, his mother Nadine and his stepfather Olivier and Séverine Longhini. In June, after their hearings, Cédric Jubillar’s mother and stepfather were released as Séverine Longhini was on December 16, without charge against them.
Delphine Jubillar, 33, disappeared during the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 from her home in Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), without leaving the slightest trace.
