The changes follow one another within the France Télévisions group and the transfer window is in full swing. A few days ago, host Laurence Boccolini announced her departure from the presentation of the game “Everyone wants to take their place” after only two seasons. We also know that Julia Vignali decided to let go of the controls of “Télématin”… to join the team of the program “Affaire concluded”. She will be replaced by Marie Portolano who has decided to leave the M6 channel to join France 2.
On the side of France 3 also things are moving since it was announced that theThe national television news “12/13” and “19/20” will be canceled from September 2023. The channel has indeed decided to bet on longer regional editions.
This Thursday, June 29, Carole Gaessler, who had been at the helm of the France 3 newscast for 13 years, therefore had to say goodbye live. It is a special day for me which marks my last 19/20. I had a lot of fun for 13 years. Thank you for your loyalty and your trust too” she said very moved, at the end of her JT. “Every evening, you were more than 2.5 million to follow us. It warms the heart, it’s a huge responsibility. We tried, every evening, to bring you the most honest look at the news” she added.
The journalist continued with short words of thanks from the newspaper’s teams when the entire editorial staff appeared on the set to offer her a bouquet of flowers and bid her a warm farewell. “I did not expect that ! I’m super proud. They do a great job. I kiss you !” she started in tears.
If Carole Gaessler leaves the presentation of the JT of France 3, she does not slam the door of the group. The journalist will indeed be at the controls of a new program called “At the Citizen Games”, a program that will be broadcast daily during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
