Second evening for the 75th Cannes Film Festival! After a spectacular opening ceremony thanks to a sparkling Virginie Efira and a family team of Cut! led by Michel Hazanavicius, it was the turn of Omar Sy, Alassane Diong, Jonas Bloquet and Mathieu Vadepied to walk on the mythical red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival to present Skirmishers. In this drama highlighting the role played by Senegalese soldiers with the French army during the First World War, Omar Sy plays a father whose young son has gone to the front. He then sets himself a mission: to find him, to fight with him but above all to protect him and bring him back alive.
