Calgary Stampeders | Receiver Malik Henry will miss the entire season

(Calgary) Calgary Stampeders wide receiver Malik Henry suffered a knee injury in practice that will require surgery and rehabilitation will cause him to miss the entire season.

The 27-year-old footballer amassed 1,023 passing yards while scoring eight touchdowns for the Stamps in 2022. He only played three games in 2023 due to an Achilles tendon injury.

In order to replace him in the lineup, the Stampeders signed receiver Colton Hunchak to a new contract. In 50 games over four seasons with the Stamps, Hunchak caught 45 passes for 606 yards, in addition to three receptions for 32 yards in four playoff duels.
