After the revelation of the first album, Requin Chagrin, in 2015, then the confirmation of the second, Sémaphore (2019) Marion Brunetto, aka Chagrin Shark, was confronted with the multitude of options that a third disc can represent. Rather than choosing from the start, she explored, for months and months, sounds, ideas, words.
We find his melancholy, his hovering sensations, but also self affirmation, underlined by rebellious batteries. Texts like music take less detours.
As per usual, Marion plays everything, all alone : synthesizer, bass, guitar, drums. She embodies a self-made woman at the dawn of her thirties, who ventures more into introspection, drawing her inspiration from her dreams, her travels, her friends.
