After Faustine Bollaert, Julia Vignali and Marie Portolano, it is Lætitia Milot who will take the reins of the show The Best Pastry Chef on M6 alongside Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. A face well known to viewers sinceLyana’s mother is a star of the small screen having participated in numerous series such as, of course, More beautiful life on France 3. The 43-year-old actress participated in the cult soap opera from the 1st to the 14th season. That being said, a question many viewers are asking is: why did she disappear from the Mistral district?
The one who played the role of the young waitress Mélanie Rinato, she bid farewell to the program in 2018. A little disappointed, at the time, to no longer appear on screen, she told our colleagues to 7 Days TV : “For three years, I have made myself available, a few months a year, in anticipation of Mélanie’s return in Plus belle la vie, on France 3. Unfortunately, the authors have not yet found the right scenario to bring my character back to the Mistral”. It therefore seems that the production itself decided to exclude Lætitia Milot from Plus belle la vie. Furthermore, she spoke nostalgically about this subject in the columns of Gala : “I miss my years in Plus belle la vieI’m not going to say the opposite. It was not a decision on my part but that of the production which did not want to follow the adventures of Mélanie. I have wonderful memories and I would have been very happy to be able to continue them,” she added.
A new adventure for the young mother
But if Lætitia Milot can no longer enjoy herself on the set of Plus belle la vie now broadcast on TF1, let’s hope she’s tasty because by ensuring the presentation of Best Pastry Chef on M6, she will undoubtedly be invited to taste the candidates’ dishes in the same way as her acolytes Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. A new challenge for Badri’s partner who has never tried presentation before : “I told myself that I was going to take this as a new role. I didn’t say ‘yes’ right away. I gave myself a little time to think before agreeing” she declared to TV 7 days adding that she is “a fan of cooking in general”.
