(Boisbriand) An accident on Highway 15 on Wednesday morning scared some 90 children at a day camp. Passengers of two buses, they were transported in a preventive way to the hospital of Saint-Eustache.

The two school buses were traveling southbound, near Boisbriand, when one of them hit the one in front of it from behind around 10 a.m., explains a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), Sergeant Catherine Bernard.
“Possibly it was due to traffic braking which was a bit abrupt,” she adds.
The children and their day camp counselors did not sustain serious injuries.
They were all transported to the Saint-Eustache hospital center to be evaluated. It will also be the rallying point where parents can pick up their children, says Sergeant Bernard.
Traffic was reopened around 11:15 a.m. on Highway 15.
